In loving memory of
Biscuit
Dog · Golden Retriever
2009 – 2024
The best boy who ever chased a ball.
Born 2009 · At rest 2024
Their story
Biscuit came home with us as a clumsy ball of fur in the spring of 2009 and spent the next fifteen years being the heart of our family. He greeted every single morning like it was the best day of his life — tail going, ears up, ready for the world.
He loved the lake more than anything, would carry the newspaper to the door (and usually shred a little of it), and slept at the foot of the kids' beds until they were taller than him. In his last years he went gray around the muzzle but never stopped smiling.
Thank you, Biscuit, for every walk, every wag, and every patient hour you spent just being near us. The house is quieter now. We love you, good boy.

He once carried my shoe around the whole barbecue like it was treasure. The gentlest soul. Run free, buddy.

Biscuit was such a good dog. He used to wait for me at the fence every day after school. I will never forget him.
