Their story
Smokey was with us for seventeen years — through three moves, two new babies, and every quiet evening in between. A dignified gray gentleman with bright copper eyes, he wasn't loud about his love, but he was constant.
He slept on the same windowsill every morning, supervised every meal from his stool, and somehow always knew which one of us needed company that night. He grew thin and slow at the end, but his purr never lost its rumble.
